but what i hate the most is your face … in my grill … when I’msick ¬_¬

P.S. I hate leg cramp that sneaks up on you like an angry dwarf who you just accidentally whacked so they kick you repeatedly …

My Beauty Regime – Sort of

This to me is foreign grounds, I mean I have never considered myself the girly, beauty loving type of person, I paint my nails when I’m bothered and I’m quite slobish but this was a request from a friend and so I thought I may as well try, who knows this could be the start of a new found Guru lifestyle (I know I’m not convinced either but we will go with it)

Sooo where do we start … *ponders*

I’m not one to buy into all these products that ‘claim’ to do wonders for your skin … consumerism at its finest … so the first product which I’m sure I don’t have to picture is good ol’ soap and water … I know people will complain and say ‘but I’ve been doing that and nothing works, but are you sure packing your pores with ‘balanced’ chemicals or herbal remedies is acc gonna help … I mean you don’t even need soap just warm water but its good to acc clean that face skin *insert cools face*

Secondly, ever so often I’ll treat myself to a face mask or two, mainly because I like the many varieties of face mask; ones that self-heat, ones that peel, ones that exfoliate, personal favourites are ones that do all of the above but I do recommend Lush face masks. They smell epic and are mainly natural ingredients *drools over the cupcake face mask … smells so nice* … they are a bit pricey but I mean I’ve had the same tub for what, a month and a half, used it 6 times (even with my mates) and i still have about 4 uses left over. I so suggest leaving it for about 20 minutes or more, simply because you can feel your skin tightening and plus I love flaking it off (I’m slightly weird … well more than slightly but oh well)

After I use my face mask, I rinse with warm to hot water (mainly in the shower, its a messy process so in the shower is easier) … The warm water opens my pores and shizz plus it makes my face feel all warm, tingly and fuzzy … I then use my favourite product … Lush Toners … They are really cool products, after you’ve opened your pores, the coolness of the toner closes them up making my skin feel so flipping smooth (it was the first thing I had ever brought from Lush … never looked back) … plus the toner in general is a great product … I mean if your staying away from home and don’t have access to a flannel and sink its great on a cotton pad for cleaning away the dirt on your face, shine too … its a quick fix. I have the Eau Roma Water toner, smells amazing and lasts a long time … I’ve only ever bought 2 in 2 years *shocking* (but I admit the Tea Tree Water Toner smells amazing too  … plus it isn’t harsh on the skin)

The final-ish stage of my cleansing process is moisturising … now I’m really shit at this because I’m extremely lazy with creaming … I usually flake out after all this beautifying but when I do moisturise my face I use any non-fragranced cream, not because I’m a fussy person, it’s just I prefer non-heavy and too smelly creams all over my face, after a few minutes I get annoyed with the smell and wipe my face again … so creams like Astral, Aveeno or unfragranced coco-butter … you catch my drift

And that’s pretty much it but I think the thing I can recommend the most that I do … is not use make-up (well much of it). On the occasional off chance I bother with make-up, I just bosh on some thin eye-liner for definition and a smidge of mascara finishing with some Vaseline or something to soften my lips. I mean if you wanna use BB-Creams, foundation, concealer or whatever its up to you, but I found with the few times I’ve allowed myself to be made up by my friends, its all a bit tolling on my face, I mean even eyeliner annoys me with removing it … I’ll forever look like a panda for a few days where I’ve used waterproof eyeliner *cries* I’m not hating or disregarding make-up users but I honestly find a person’s blemishes quite adorable and admirable, they tell a story … I mean I would kill to have freckles <3 but that's just me … I think the only advice I could give to anyone who uses make-up and follows my regime (unlikely) that I have been told by my friends is to use a really really good make-up remover, even if it puts you out of pocket for abit, I mean it should be worth it if it lasts and works, and also allow your face rest breaks, like if you aren't going out on the weekend whats the point of dolling up, or if your going college, just use a bit of concealer if it is bothering you.

Small side notes:

  • Drink a lot of water – I only say this because for general health its good for you anyways but not too much because to much of anything is bad for you XD
  • Exercise – I’m a lazy oaf but even walking, gain confidence, plus when you exercise you sweat more and I find sweating helps push dirt out of the pores more
  • Relax – I know its rich coming from someone who complains so much about stressful and annoying situations but its always good to escape with some music or a good book (or both if your me) … stress is a main contributor to breakouts

New Reading List !

in light of recent friendship-py thingys … im not gonna post about because one, there comes a point as to how much you involve yourself without taking sides … also i dont acc care … and they both know so *shrugs* we can move the fuck on

starting back a college to have introductions to A2 courses for next year if i manage to pass, it has become quite obvious to me that i need to do more ‘indepentdant’ reading for my english and philosophy class … ive been back what best part of 2 days and i have already been given a summer assignment for english … i have never wanted to read an entire book by a deadline *sigh* … its not that i dont like catcher in the rye … its just i would much prefer reading at my own pace … instead of having to power house through it and then write an 1000-1200 word essay by the 10th of july TT__TT … somebody save me *cries*

so coming back from that tangent …. i have created a summer reading list and sort of schedule … nothing to rash … but something to get me started … might aswell esp if i wanna do english in university XD

Not one to complain buttt

I lie … The title is a lie … I complain all the time … Im complaining now and if its any consolation im doing it with style in a fucking train … *whoop*

Well yeah … I havent posted on here since my rant about the imbeciles in the world but yeah … I have a massive problem … And i don’t mean a pesky friend or like a disease and shit … Ohhh no no no it to me is much worse
Im gonna take you step by step through what has to be the shittiest and stressful weeks for me
It all started i believe 2 weeks ago today … We were heading up to essex for a barbecue to celebrate my sorta cousins 15th birthday … I know it isn’t a mile stone but ahhh well you only have one birthday a year and it was pretty sweet seeing them … But yes back off that sweet tangent … I had to take my nose piercing out the saturday because i must have slept on it wrong but it had become swollen… So i took it out, cleaned it and shit then moved on …
I awoke sunday morning with a numb tongue … I didn’t take much notice of that well because i get numbness from time to time and meh wasn’t anything too troubling … So day went ahead an shit we came home after my wonderful amounts of booze … 4 pints of Pimms with rum, beer and cider … Pretty chilled i must say
Nowww we are on bank holiday monday … The day after the essex trip … I woke up and the left side of my face to me was feeling lazy … Reacting slower, not performing as well as i would want … (I couldn’t  even do my award winning smile for everyone 🙁 ) so with this in mind my mum was thinking holy shit this bitch is having a mother fucking stroke ahhhh *phones 111* … I must add those weren’t here exact words but may as well have been with all the panicking and all … So after a lengthy phone conversation with the kind but annoying person on 111 i was booked to go to the hospital … Yaaaay
Now i love hospitals as much as the next strange person … Esp as i dont go to then often … No broken bones and all *touch wood* so i was like yayayayayaya hospital … Get there and pretty decent service … I spoke to the doctor and he said *in a deep macho voice* ‘you have done something to your face’ (these in bold italics are my internal thoughts) … Nahh you dont say captain obvious ‘i think it may be a nerve palsy’ okiee doke ‘i think you should take a course of steroids’ O.O ohhhh does this mean ill be a hench mofo no one will mess with in the hood … I kid i kid but arent steroids shitty …
 
So they put me on a course of 30mg steroids which i had to dissolve and down the solution … May i just say they tasted shit shit shit … And also what was shit is that i went to the docs the next day for my blood test results to be told that im vitamin D and iron deficient … Thats why im always tired … *facepalm*

sooo i was on the 30mg of steroids for about 5 days, when my face started to hurt when applied pressure so we phoned 111 again yes again … plus this was the day before my final biology exam … the shittest moment to have concentrational lapses … and also the side effects of the steroids were absolutely shit i mean hallucinating, depression, mood swings, ect are not my forte 🙁 so went back to the hospital and they gave me all of thisss *points down to picture* turns out its a Bell’s Palsy ?! i think its that  … whereby i have paralysed the 7th nerve in my face which controls the ability to gremice, smile properly, blink properly and flaring my left nostril 🙁 … which is my favourite past time btw … i mean the hours of fun going flared … unflared … flared … unflared … ahhhh 

These are my medicines B) … top left corner is some tablet to stop me from feeling sick, 3 green boxes at the back are my steroids which they increased to 60mg a day, then vitamin D tablets, below them are iron tablets to the left, anti-viral tablets to see if it can fix it and then eye drops which i struggle with 🙁
This is my 7am routine, and then just 4 more big white tablets throughout the day every 4 hours B)

so yeah todayyy is the last day of tablets minus the iron and vitmin D tabs but yeah … im feeling mildly better, i have an ENT appointment tomorrow afternoon so yeah … this post was confusing … not because of anything in particular, its a mix between a headache, the train journey and being cramped plus the meds making me feel mildly tired 🙁
